Why didn't Lestat see Louis already had trauma even he couldn't comprehend? I'm sure he appreciated Lestat but Louis got trackmarks on his heart like love's done him some pain even he doesn't admit or care to talk about anymore.

I felt like this iteration of Lestat maybe initially wanted revenge on Claudia and for her to die for what she did to him or at least that's what he told himself but i think deep down in the end he allowed her to die because in his own way he saw it as a mercy, he was correcting the mistake he made when he created her he knew what the dark gift would eventually do to her that being trapped in the body of a child would drive her insane and she would die eventually anyway. I think in his own way he loved her he was definetly proud of her ruthless murderous capabilities but he had no idea how to be a parent his own father was abusive and as much as he hated him he ended up repeating the cycle with Claudia, you can feel his grief at her death and guilt at the end of season 2 but that still doesn't negate the fact that he saw it as necessary, I think he told himself he wasn't prolonging her pain by allowing it to happen but wasn't prepared for how defiantly gruesome her death was.

if lestat can be forgiven for dropping louis from 20,000 feet above the earth, then armand can be forgiven anything and then thanked for not only saving louis' life, but also ungrateful molloy.

I really didn’t like the majority of the first season, and the changes in time seemed pointless, other than for the sake of doing it, until this season showed changes, and how they’d do their adaptation. Season 2 was such a better show. It’s like they switched show runners or something.

Um..... Lestat clearly wasn't in Paris for revenge. You forget that this has been Louis's self-serving, guilt-ridden and ignorant perspective. Lestat was clearly in Paris to try to save them. He knew that the "trial" play was going to happen whether he comes or not but if he doesn't come then both Claudia and Louis are dead. But if he comes, then he can try to save them, at least one of them. That's why he went off script so much and took responsibility for every wrong he did to them. He was trying to sway the coven's opinion. When that failed, he knew he only had the power to save one of them and he is always going to choose for Louis to live. Because he loves him above anyone and anything else,, including himself.

I was never confused as to why Lestat saved Louis. It's the same reason why Louis refused to burn Lestat, even though he knew that could potentially put Claudia in danger. He just couldn't do it. I was more baffled by how Armand could love Louis on the one hand but also be able to watch him die. So cold!

Question: do you like aged Molloy story line of would it be better if they made a story line in which Dany is young and a vampire doing interview; kinda don't get why they changed part in which Armand turn Daniel in youth

I hope they don’t skip over the vampire lestate there is definitely a story there I can wait for queen of the damned honestly it annoyed me they went right to it in the movies and I agree that movie was terrible

In *ALMOST* every vampire/werewolf supernatural series it always goes to some form of hybrid thing? the vampire diaries/originals/legacies with hope, (as a tribrid so a step further), Hayley, and starting with Klaus in TVD in Twilight its human and vampire hybrid of renesmee In underworld its werwolf and vampire hybrid of Michael and Marcus its like when the series is out of ideas or wants to climax the story they play the hybrid card.

Yes, Aaliyah was amazing. It was beautiful that she did her part phenomenal but I think that we are living in a time that everybody deserves a chance to shine and I believe that a person from Iran should be play her Akasha . There is a moment in series were Armand seems to have much power that is when he freeze the environment and Lestat falls to the ground. But the comments seems to say that Lestat is more powerful. Is it because he already had Akasha's blood which is also stated by Lestat in the series. Also the time of queen of the damned seems to be different from the movie. Aliyah queen of the damned is like modern age already while series would be like before ww2. The timeline got me confused because Im watching book summaries in youtube and watch the series and the movies.

This is not factual. Armand did not save Louis, Lestat did. Armand intended for Louis to perish with Claudia ad adeline per Episode 8. Your theory is ill informed my friend.

Lestat is the main character so who gives AF about Armon. In the books he beats the fuck out of Armon back then and there's nothing he or anyone can do to stop Lestat

Lestat saved louis armand directed the play to kill all of them he took credit for saving louis for 77 years until Malloy exposes the script with armands handwriting in the margins

I apologize sir but the finale kills this take . But last week ,this would have been a bomb video to think about .

Even though it was eventually revealed that Lestat was the one to save louis, like Daniel said Armand still used it to his advantage and lied about it being him who saved Louis. This was the last straw for Louis and he leaves Armand before telling him he would kill him if he harmed Daniel for exposing the truth to him. He already knew that Louis wouldn't forgive him for not saving Claudia and Madeline even though he said to Louis in the finale he forgive Armand for what happened which he knows full well isn't the truth. Armand was treated horribly as a slave, then by Mauris and when he thought he found his companion in the form of Lestat who may of not used him(again this is due to the inaccuracies in his story and me not believing what Lestat truly did to him) him still being heartbroken by that betrayal and then would found Louis, i believe he did love Louis but was also jealous of his relationship with Lestat and Claudia. I feel for him but he is also just as bad as Lestat.

Armand wanted Lestat as companion, not Louis. He didn't save him but Lestat was stronger than Armand knew (Akasha's blood that Armand doesn't know). It was just a way for Arman to become close to Lestat.
